Constellation Drift
Constellation Drift is a tracing dexterity game. Each round shows a faded silver target glyph — an abstract constellation or rune — and asks you to draw over it in one continuous stroke. The engine scores your trace against the target on three axes: closeness (how near each sample sits to the line), coverage (whether the stroke spans the whole glyph) and steadiness (how consistent your speed was). 50 hand-curated glyphs span six levels of escalating complexity, with a daily glyph for return visits and a lifetime collection wall on the home page that fills as you complete runs.
How to play
- Press anywhere on the canvas to start a stroke; a gold particle trail follows your finger.
- Drag along the faded silver target without lifting — one stroke per glyph.
- Release to end the stroke; the engine scores closeness, coverage and steadiness 0..100.
- Tap Next to advance through the level's 8 (or 10) glyphs; the cumulative score awards 1, 2 or 3 stars.
- Cleared a glyph at 90+? It gets a gold mastery slot on the home-page collection wall.
Tips
- Slow and steady beats fast and approximate — steadiness only counts variance, not speed.
- Sweep from one end to the other in one motion; reverse-tracing scores the same, so pick the direction your hand prefers.
- If a glyph has tight corners, slow down INTO the corner and resume cruising on the next straight — keeps closeness up.
FAQ
- Is Constellation Drift free?
- Yes. Constellation Drift runs free in your browser on desktop and mobile, with no installs, sign-up, or downloads.
- What is the daily glyph?
- Each calendar day, a deterministic seed picks one of the 50 glyphs as the day's challenge. Same glyph world-wide. Solving it advances a streak counter on the home page.
- Does the collection wall reset?
- No. The collection wall (50 runes on the home page) is lifetime progress stored locally in your browser; clearing site data is the only thing that resets it.
