Mahjong Solitaire
Mahjong Solitaire (千机阁) is a single-player tile-matching puzzle adapted from four-player Mahjong. A full set of 144 tiles is dealt face-up into the iconic five-layer turtle pyramid, and you clear the board by matching pairs of identical tiles. A tile is only selectable when it is free — nothing on top of it and at least one of its left or right sides open.
How to play
- Tap a free tile to select it, then tap a matching tile to remove the pair.
- A tile is free only when nothing sits on top and its left or right side is open.
- Match tiles of identical face — seasons match any season and flowers match any flower.
- Use a hint to highlight a valid pair, or a shuffle when no free pair is left.
- Remove all 144 tiles to clear the board and win the game.
Tips
- Read the top layers first — a tile under the crown blocks every same-column tile beneath it.
- Save your shuffles. They only help when no free matching pair exists; spending one early wastes it.
- Quick consecutive matches stack a combo bonus — when you find one valid pair, scan for the next before committing.
