Neon Snake
Neon Snake is a slither.io-style arena snake game with smooth, free-angle steering. Eat glowing orbs to grow longer while six AI snakes — wanderers, hoarders, and hunters — share the arena with you. The moment your head touches any body, yours or a rival's, you burst into orbs and the run is over.
How to play
- Move your mouse (or drag on touch) to steer — your head smoothly follows the cursor.
- Glide over orbs to grow; golden and magnet orbs are worth extra.
- Hold left-click or Space to boost for a burst of speed — boosting slowly costs you length.
- Avoid touching any snake's body, including your own, or you burst on contact.
- Survive longer and grow longest to climb the rank against the AI snakes.
Tips
- Tight turns at full speed risk hitting your own body — let go of boost first.
- Death drops bright orb chains — Hoarder AI will rush them. Use that to bait them into walls.
- A Hunter snake longer than you will try to cut you off. Boost-feint and turn the other way.
FAQ
- Is Neon Snake free to play?
- Yes. Neon Snake runs free in your browser with no installs, downloads, or sign-up, on both desktop and mobile.
- How do you win Neon Snake?
- There is no fixed finish line — survive as long as you can, grow your length, and finish ranked above the six AI snakes for the best score.
- How does boosting work in Neon Snake?
- Hold left-click or Space to boost for a burst of speed. Boosting steadily drains your length, and it stops working once your snake gets too short, so use it in short, well-timed bursts.
- Does Neon Snake work on mobile?
- Yes. On touch devices you steer by dragging anywhere on screen and boost with an on-screen button.
