Zen Garden
Zen Garden (禅意花园) is a quiet, no-win, no-fail digital interpretation of a Japanese dry rock garden. There is no score, no clock, and no game-over screen — just a square patch of sand to rake and decorate. Drag to trace fading sand patterns, place stones and other ornaments, and switch seasons whenever the mood takes you.
How to play
- In Rake mode, drag your finger or cursor across the sand to trace a slow, fading furrow.
- Switch tools above the canvas — stone, moss, petal, lantern or bamboo — and tap to place a decoration.
- Tap a decoration while in Rake mode to remove it.
- Choose one of four seasons to recolour the sand and stroke ink — your season and lifetime stroke count are saved.
- Use Clear to wipe the strokes, or reset everything, whenever you want a fresh canvas.
Tips
- Long, unbroken strokes look most rake-like — let the line drift, do not lift your finger between turns.
- Place a stone first, then rake circles around it — the patterns ripple outward from a fixed point.
- Switch seasons for a fresh palette without losing your decorations. Lifetime strokes never reset.
